こんにちは、リサです。みなさんお元気ですか？

You know as parents obviously there are different stages for raising kids and once they start going to the schools, they start doing their homework, and when they’re still little, we could tell them “It’s time for your homework” or “Chop chop!! Let’s finish your homework” and it usually works for them.
親として子育てには様々な段階があることはご存知だと思いますが、子どもたちが学校に行き始めると宿題をするようになります。まだ小さいうちは、「宿題の時間だよ」とか「さあさあ、宿題を終わらせよう」と言えば、だいたいそれでやってくれますよね。

But as they get older, uh-uh, these phrases are not going to work for them, right?
でも、年を取るにつれて、ブッブー、これらの言葉は彼らには効果がなくなってくるんですよね？

So if you have any trouble like this, please make this phrase useful.

So you know you’re respecting their age, and then saying your idea, but literally you’re saying do it now.
これで、あなたは彼らの年齢を尊重しつつ、自分の考えを伝えていることになります。でも、実際には今やれと言っているんですよね。
