Practice makes perfect 🤩——
The morning routine task for my kiddos.
我が家の子供達の朝のルーティン作業。
(kiddos= kids,子供のカジュアルな呼び方)
Reading razkids.
Razkids を読むこと。
They have been reading it everyday for quite a while.
彼女達これを毎日だいぶ長いこと読んでいます。
(quite a while = かなり長い間、ずいぶん)
Their understanding and reading levels are definitely going up.
彼女達の理解度そして読むレベルそれぞれ確実に上がってきています。
Pumpkin’s level is going up and the stories she reads are getting difficult.
パンプキンのレベルは上がってきて読むお話しも難しくなってきました。
There are more big vocabularies.
単語も難しいものがあり。
(big vocabularies,words = 長くて難しい単語)
Longer sentences structures.
文章構成も長いものになり。
When she reaches to comprehension questions
理解度クイズに辿り着くと
Sometimes she has to asks for my help to understand the meaning of vocabularies to answer them.
時々、私に単語についてその意味を聞かなければ質問に答えられない時があります。
Times like that I ask her not to do the quiz
そんな時私は、彼女にクイズは、やらないでっと言います
(times like that = そんな時)
and instead have her read the same story until she understands what it’s about.
代わりに同じお話を理解できるまで繰り返し読んでもらうようにしています。
After she feels confident enough to do the quiz, she gives it a try.
彼女が自信を持ってできると思ったらクイズに挑戦してもらっています。
But by doing it this way, not only she understands the story and be able to answer the questions
この方法でやることで彼女がお話を理解して、問題を解けるだけなく
but she also tries to apply the words she learned through the story in her everyday lives.
学習した単語を日々の生活の中に当てはめようと努力しているのが分かります。
(apply = 当てはめる
物理的に何かを当てはめるだけでなく生活に取り入れるといったニュアンスで使う事もできます。)
She looks so happy getting the answers right
彼女は本当に嬉しそうです！！答えも正解し
and also getting praised for using new words when we speaks.
そして新しい単語を使って話していることを褒めてもらえて！！
